General Board-wide

#1 All displayed messages are limited to English only. This includes posts, titles, signatures, other forms of public display.

Warning System

#3 A warning will automatically expire after 90 days.

If you believe you do not deserve the warn please contact an admin. Talking back to the moderator who gave you the warning with no sense of respect will lead to further warnings.


Posting Etiquette (manners)


#1 All warez topics must contain a description.

#2 Treat others positively and with respect. Flaming other members or other forums will lead to a warning, possibly even a ban.

#3 Topics must be submitted to the relevant forums. Please read the forum descriptions before posting.

#4 Topic titles must be descriptive.

Example:

A good example is "Looking for Rise of the Titans".

A bad example is "HEEEEELP!".

#5 Bumping is allowed provided that the reply has relevant information that is useful to the continuance of the topic. Short intervals of bumps is not allowed to bump the topic up onto the first page by the same person.

Example:

Allowed: A topic discusses a news event. The topic's discussion has died but there is new striking evidence to turn thoughts around. A reply with such information that is relevant and useful is allowed.

Allowed: Requests may only be bumped once every 48 hours since the last reply.

Disallowed: A one-liner reply with the words "lol".

Disallowed: Bumping topics continuously to get them up to the first few pages.

#6 Double posting of the same links may lead to a warning, especially if you have your own independent topic for a set of links and yet still post the same links in related topics with the intention of gaining exposure.

Also use the edit button when altering your reply if you're the last to post in the topic.

#7 Images must be hosted on image hosting websites.

#8 All links must be coded - including internal.

#9 No topic hijacking (going off topic).

#10 Requesting mirrors (or alternative links) is allowed in topics as long it is requested in a polite manner.

#12 Removal of moderated messages is not allowed.


Spam rules


#1 You may only promote your website once.

#2 If you choose to post a link it should benefit everyone and must not be a site of the following categories:

Web hosting. Referrals. Affiliation. Sites that require a subscription or a fee to access.

#3 Passwords that advertise other forums is allowed provided that they are required. If the passwords are not required the poster will be punished as a spamming member.

#4 All topics with a never-ending plot will be locked after 500 replies. We do not want to spoil the fun however if the topic is locked and another similar topic with the same plot is posted again, the newly created topic will also be locked.

#5 Excessive posting of similar messages to increase post count is not allowed.


Trade and requests


#1 The trade and exchange of goods and services is not allowed through the medium of money. Only bartering (trading without money) is allowed.

Example:

The selling of cheap Rapidshare, Megashares, etc accounts are not allowed.

#2 You must have at least a post count of 10 to request.

#3 The staff are not liable for any loss caused through an exchange; the person not honoring their side of the transaction would be an example of this.


Private Messaging


#1 All rules apply in regard to private messaging.


Avatars and Signatures


#1 All rules apply to avatars and signatures.

#2 The total maximum dimensions for images in a signature is 120px (width) by 120px (height).

#3 Signatures can only be 100KB or less in total file size.

#4 All usernames should not exceed 15 characters, and may not refer to a email or any web site - use good taste here.


Explicit guidelines


#1 Sticky Requests: Please do not request a post to be stickied. If there is room to sticky an exceptional post we will do so, only room for six stickies per forum.

#2 To have your username changed please PM a Super Moderator or a Admin.

#3 Asking any staff member if you can be a part of the staff will hinder your chance of ever becoming one. The same applies for Privite/VIP as well.
